If you are between the ages of 13 and 24 and looking to have some fun and connect with people your own age, then you’ll want to check out Rec for Youth.
Rec for Youth is a social club where youth of all abilities gather together weekly to enjoy sports, crafts, movies and other activities. Over the summer, the youth plan trips to Canada’s Wonderland, Cedar Park, local museums and recreation centers to name just a few. The group meets on a weekly basis alternating between the Uxbridge and Port Perry communities.
Planning
Our “Getting Connected in North Durham” is a transitional support model designed to assist high school graduates make a smooth and successful transition from school to the adult community. Community Facilitators are available to assist youth and their support circles through a holistic approach to life planning. Facilitators assist the youth to explore opportunities, set goals and get connected to their community.

Come on out and get up close and personal with the animals at the Northwood Ranch in Seagrave. Pack a picnic lunch. They have a small gift shop and quarter machines to feed the animals, if you wish to pack extra money. Drop off at 11am and pick up at 2pm at the Port Perry Resource Centre. cost is $15 |

Pack your swimsuits, towels, sunscreen and hats. today will be a fun day at Ontario Place. There are water slides, log rides, bumper boats and we get to see a movie in the IMAX, plus tons more. Pack drinks and a lunch. There are lots of food stands and souvenir shops if you prefer to purchase something. Drop off at 8am and pick up at 6pm at the Uxbridge Baptist Church. Rain or Shine! cost is $20 |

We will be travelling to Niagara Falls today to visit Marineland. There are tons of rides and animal shows. Please pack a picnic lunch, drinks and moeny for dinner/souvenirs. You also have the option to feed the Beluga Whales for $8.50 Dress for the weather. If we get a chance, we will visit the Rainbow Falls. So get plenty of rest as this will be a long day. Drop off at 8am and pickup at 9pm at the Uxbridge Church. Cost is $14 plus any additional as mentioned above. |
